Letters from Santa Fundraising Project 2018

After the success of our trial fundraiser creating Letters from Santa last November 2017, we decided to expand our efforts this holiday season.  Please ask your friends, family, and neighbors if they would like to surprise young and not so young with a special letter just for them on holiday stationery from Santa.  These letters are perfect for all ages, not just children.

The first link below is the form that must be completed with as many details as possible to personalize Santa’s letter.  Think across 2018!   The second and third links will take you to some sample letters.

  • Just click on the Santa Form 2018 link below, and the Santa Form will open as a Word Document.
  • Fill out the Santa Form and save it on your computer.
  • Then, attach it to an email that you send to Claudia Ward or Linda French.  You don’t need to print the form out as a hard copy, unless you want to save a copy.
  • Finally, contact Betty Weber to let her know how much you owe AAUW – Loveland; it’s $5.00 per letter that you want to have sent.
  • You can find Claudia’s, Linda’s and Betty’s contact information in the directory at the ‘Members Only’ page on this website.

Cost:  $5.00  Make your check out to Loveland AAUW.                                                                              (All profits will be added to our Scholarship Fund.)

The completed forms MUST be received by Saturday, December 1, 2018 or we cannot write the letters.

Our Santa letter writing crew will tentative meet on Sunday, December 2.  Please let Claudia Ward or Linda French know that you are volunteering to help with this thoroughly enjoyable activity.

AAUW – Loveland Holiday Social and Benefit Gathering

When:  Monday, December 3, 6:30pm-8:30pm

Where:  Lincoln Gallery, 429 N. Lincoln , Loveland

Our AAUW Loveland Holiday Social is just around the corner! Join us for a joyous AAUW evening to celebrate our friendship and the work we do to advance gender equity for women and girls through research, education and advocacy.

This holiday season our group has chosen to benefit the homeless students in the Thompson School District by donating much needed warm socks for the cold days ahead. Please bring a pair of socks to donate next Monday to our gathering. In addition, please add to the fun by treating all of us to a plate of yummy finger foods to share.

See you next Monday at the Lincoln Gallery!
