Louise Stone Women’s College Scholarship — Loveland Branch

Scholarships of up to $1,000.00 will be awarded to women college students currently or formerly residing in the Loveland–‐Berthoud  area. These scholarships are available through the Loveland Branch of the American Association of University Women. If you are currently pursuing a college degree you are eligible to apply. Candidates must demonstrate a financial need to be considered for this award.

Any woman interested in applying for the scholarship will need to complete an application, which should include pertinent information that supports your need for the scholarship. All of the application requirements must be completed and submitted electronically to fmfeinerman@outlook.com by April 27, 2024.

Application Requirements:

1. Completed application form (see below) and written statement of your career goals and how they connect to the AAUW mission statement.

2. A transcript of your college work or a letter of acceptance to a college program.

3. Two professional and one personal letter of reference, submitted directly from the references to the selection committee. Electronically submitted letters are preferred, but not required.

4. The name and address of the institution receiving the payment. Include the name of the financial person that should be listed as in care of (CO) the check.

The completed applications must be received by April 27, 2024 by 5 pm. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The finalists for the scholarships will be interviewed on May 4, 2024. Applicants who are chosen to receive the scholarships will be notified by May 11, 2024. Scholarships will be awarded on May 18, 2024 at the Loveland AAUW Scholarship Luncheon.
